About Our establishment was founded in 1986 and we guarantee to offer only the highest standard of Pet Funerals services, we do not deal with mass incineration or with clinical waste.
At Pets At Rest we have a beautiful cemetery set in peaceful tree filled surroundings, a garden of remembrance with stone landscaping and seating, and chapel of rest where your loved one will lay and you can spend time together. We have books of remembrance and a wonderful selection of caskets urns etc. Our burials are carried out with fully lined wooden caskets, in individual marked plots, ground stone with inscription or choice of headstone and surrounds. Our individual cremations and respectful communal cremations come within the scope of the APPCC Code, under which we provide a respectful, dignified and caring service. If ordering through a veterinary surgery, please specify one or other of these services, as surgeries often simply ask crematoria to provide a disposal service that is outside the scope of the Code.
We collect from home or veterinary surgeries in our flower filled pet hearse, offering care and attention throughout their final journey - or you may bring them along. Please phone ahead for an appointment.
We welcome visitors to our office and are always happy to explain our services and discuss any questions you may have. Please just call first to arrange a suitable time.
Payment is requested on collection of ashes. Unfortunately, we do not have a card machine, however can accept cash, cheques or payment via Bank transfer (please request these details from the office).
We are members of the
Association of Private Pet Cemeteries and Crematoria (www.appcc.org.uk ) and follow
their Code of Practice, which sets high standards. We are licensed by the
Animal and Plant Health Authority and Environment Agency.
